Coroner Names Woman Killed In Bethlehem Fire Officials have identified the Bethlehem woman who died in a house fire on Wednesday morning, May 22.  Ladell Christie, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene on the 900 block of Broadway, according to Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Her cause and manner of death are pending the results of the fire investigation, the Coroner's Office added.

Two Women Found Stabbed To Death In Northeast Philadelphia Basement, Authorities Say City police are investigating a double homicide in Philadelphia's Crescentville neighborhood, authorities said on Tuesday, May 21.  Two women were found with multiple stab wounds in the basement of a home on the 6000 block of Bingham Street, PPD said.  The victims, aged 58 and 75, were pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m.  Police said they had no motive and no arrests as of Tuesday afternoon.  Homicide detectives are investigating.

Charges are pending against the 69-year-old homeowner, according to troopers. Montco Copper Thieves Used Bolt Cutters In Peco Station Break-In, Troopers Say State police in Montgomery County are investigating a burglary at a PECO substation on May 8.  Two masked men used bolt cutters to gain entry to the substation at 444 Gravel Pike in Perkiomen, troopers said.  They then stole copper wiring from the loading dock, according to investigators.  Suspect one was 5-foot-11 and about 180 pounds with an average build, police said.
