LODI, N.J. -- A Lodi police officer who rolled up on an idling car in a Burger King parking lot arrested the driver on charges of pot, heroin and paraphernalia possession.
Officer Philip Nobile was on patrol when he spotted the car, with 23-year-old Anthony Tabano of Garfield inside, in the parking lot of the Washington Street fast-food eater at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Lt. Robert Salerno said Friday.
Shining his spotlight inside, the officer spotted marijuana, he said.
Tabano was ordered held on $5,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
