Glen Rock police juvenile officer sent naked pics, sexual messages to girls, authorities charge

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Glen Rock police detective sergeant in charge of his department’s juvenile bureau exchanged sexually explicit messages with two girls — ages 14 and 17 — and asked the younger one to provide naked photos of herself after sending her two of his private parts, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli charged today.

Eric Reamy, 51, of Fair Lawn — who was scheduled to retire the end of this month — “engaged in this conduct while he was investigating and or supervising the two juvenile females,” Molinelli said after a judge ordered the married sergeant held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.

His home was searched and computers seized, along with weapons that Reamy legally owned.

Prosecutors charged the 27-year veteran, who is also a Fair Lawn firefighter, with five counts of child endangerment.
