GARFIELD-LODI, N.J. -- Thomas E. Caputo, 62, of Columbia, Conn., and Lodi, N.J., died suddenly Thursday, Nov. 26.
Raised in Union City and a graduate of St. Peter's Prep and Boston College, Caputo pursued a career as a software specialist with the state government of Connecticut, the American Broadcasting Company and Verizon.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph A. Caputo and Florence (Greiner) Caputo, as well as his brother Joseph A. Caputo Jr., brother-in-law Vincent Savage, and sister-in-law Susan Agostinelli.
Caputo is survived by his wife Deborah Caputo; son Douglas Caputo; sister Florence (Caputo) Savage; father-in-law Henry (Adua) Agostinelli; mother-in-law Maxine (Holmes) Manfreda, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Hunt Stellate Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave., Fort Lee.
