LODI, N.J. -- Rachel Sproviero, of Lodi, died on Friday, Jan. 20. She was 83.
Born in Hackensack, Sproviero was a secretary to the principal at Lodi High School for many years before she retired. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Westminster Yacht Club.
She is survived by her children, Scott Sproviero and his wife Carolyn, Robert "Bobby" Sproviero and his wife CarolAnn, and Nancy Salerno and her husband Frank; and grandchildren Amanda, Jason, Sean, Daniel and Frankie.
Sproviero was predeceased by her husband, Frank Sproviero, and her parents, Frank and Carmela Gerardi.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from the Costa Memorial Home, 170 Central Ave., in Hasbrouck Heights, with a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, in Lodi. Interment will follow, at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Saddle Brook.
