Born in Passaic, he lived in Garfield, Paterson, Franklin Lakes, and Ringwood before moving to Toms River 19 years ago. He was an electroplater for over 40 years working at several metal plating companies in Northern NJ before retiring in 1999. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, a member of the Holiday Heights First Aid Squad and Bocce Club all in Toms River, he was an avid bingo player, and a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Clauss and Nancy Majkowicz; his siblings, Ross Macaluso, Maryann Atanasio, Antoinette Toronto, Bessie Griglak, and Donna Macaluso; grandchildren, Jim, Steve, Alyssa, Jennifer, Jaymi, and Alex; and a great-granddaughter, Ava.
He is predeceased by his wife, Virginia; daughters, Karen Bennett and Andrea Westra; and his parents, Dominic and Bessie Macaluso.
