GARFIELD, N.J. -- Irene H. Puzio, formerly of Garfield, died on Sunday, Jan. 1. She was 81.
Born and raised in Wallington, Puzio lived in Garfield for 56 years, before she moved to Pennsylvania six years ago. She had graduated from Pope Pius XII High School, in Passaic.
She was an office administrator with the U.S. Attorneys Office, Department of Justice, in Newark before she retired. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, in Garfield.
Puzio is survived by her brother, Judge Sylvester Puzio, and she was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mary Puzio.
The funeral is Friday, Jan. 6, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., in Garfield, at 9:30 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, in Paterson.
