GARFIELD, N.J. -- Benjamin A. Sparano, of Garfield, died on March 26. He was 80.
Born in Jersey City, Sparano was raised in Rutherford settling in Garfield 29 years ago. He was a salesman with Quality Gutter in East Rutherford before retiring, a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield, and a Marine Corps Veteran.
Sparano is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kim (Cerepak), two children, Sara Sparano and Joshua Sparano, his son-in-law, Salvatore Alaimo, and a granddaughter, Miah Alaimo.
The visiting and funeral are Wednesday, March 29, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 11 a.m. followed by a 2 p.m. chapel service. Interment will be at Lodi Cemetery.
