LODI, N.J. -- Basilio De Sousa, 64, of Lodi, died Wednesday, Oct. 19.
He was born July 16, 1952, in Penafiel, Portugal and came to the United States in 1988.
Before retiring, he was a truck driver for the Teamster’s Union Local 472 in Newark. He was a member of the Portugese-American Club in Lodi.
He is survived by his wife, Idalina; children, Sara Maria Quinones and her husband Robert; and grandchildren, Katelin Marie and Emily Sara Quinones.
There will be a funeral at 9 a.m. Friday at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights followed by a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, 125 Union St,. Lodi. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum in Saddle Brook.
