GARFIELD, N.J. -- Anna Catherine Gola Biernat, a lifetime resident of Garfield, died Aug. 29. She was 95.
Biernat was a seamstress for the Supreme Pants Company in Garfield for 45 years. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church.
Biernat was married to the late John Biernat. She was the sister of the late Edward Gola and Henry Andrew Gola, and sister-in-law of Ann Gola. She also is survived by nieces and nephews Sandra, Henry, Lillian and Jeanne Gola, Eileen and Ladislaus Manassy, Dennis Biernat, Maria Garczynski, Jan Kulig, Josef and Halina Kulig, Frank, Jadzia and Stansilawa Kulig and many grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
