The tradition was revived three years ago, according to Bombers President Steve Zaccone.

The 2016 edition starts at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elmwood Park High School.

The Boilermakers won at all four levels – mighty mites, peewee, junior and senior – last year on their home turf.

Councilmen Joe Dombrowski and Steve Martino handed out trophies.

"The kids are practicing hard," Zaccone said. "We get an excellent turnout of fans and it's an exciting day for the kids. The cheerleaders are working hard too for their halftime routines and we are looking forward to seeing them perform."
