Garfield Superintendent Reminds Parents Of Student-Athletes To Be Nice

GARFIELD, N.J. – Garfield Public Schools Superintendent Nicholas Perrapato recently published an open letter on parental conduct at sporting events.

In the letter, Perrapato encouraged parents to be positive role models for their children and to show respect for coaches, spectators, officials and opposing players.

"We feel that as parents you play a vital role in the development of your student athletes," the superintendent wrote.
