New data from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs shows that both the average property tax bills in Bergen ($11,564) and Passaic ($9,781) counties are higher than the state's average ($8,690).

Below are the 10 Bergen County towns that averaged the cheapest property tax bills in 2017.
