The article is about Trump's 17-day working vacation in Bedminister and takes a whack at New Jersey, citing "spray tans, Snooki, muscle shirts, 'The Sopranos,' traffic jams and toll plazas," wrote Matt Viser and Annie Linskey.

Cory Booker told The Globe: "This is something that needs no defense. Unlike the Patriots. Unlike the Celtics. Unlike the Red Sox. Which need a lot of defending.”

Rutgers alum Katie Leach was among the many people scoffing at the story.

"Next person to knock Trump for vacationing in New Jersey is about to see me go full Christie-with-nachos-at-baseball-game," she said on Twitter.
