Detective Jorge Barreto obtained an arrest warrant after tying 31-year-old Frank J. Schumacher Jr. to the Jan. 29 break-in on Lindy Road, Capt. Laurence Martin said.

A resident who called police after finding Schumacher in the home reported two Canon cameras worth $3,500 stolen, Martin said.

Barreto soon discovered that Schumacher pawned them at a Route 23 shop, the captain said.

Schumacher was sent to the Passaic County Jail pending a bail hearing on charges of burglary and theft.
