Officers responding to a dispute call around 11 a.m. Wednesday at the area of Lawrence and Oak Grove avenues learned that Marco Bedoya had fled, Lodi Police Lt. Robert Salerno said.

Bedoya, who had active warrants, was picked up soon after by Hasbrouck Heights police, who returned him to the scene, Salerno said.

A second man, 20-year-old Paul E. Edmunds, also of Lodi, had been arguing with a woman, leading to the call, the lieutenant said.

Lodi police ended up charging both men with having and selling prescription drugs in a school zone, he said.

Bedoya and Edmunds were being held on $15,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail.
