Prosecutor: Bergen, Garfield Investigators Find Pot, Cash In Raid

GARFIELD, N.J. – Investigators who raided an 18-year-old Garfield man’s home said they found pot, a digital scale and bags used to package drugs.

Adonis Mouton also had $2,481 in alleged drug proceeds that was seized, acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

The search-warranted raid on Monday followed an investigation by Grewal’s Narcotic Task Force and Garfield police, the prosecutor said.

Mouton was released on drug charges pending an Oct. 5 arraignment.
