Port Authority: Driver Who Flipped Zipcar On GWB Ramp Was Stoned

FORT LEE, N.J. -- A driver who flipped a rented Subaru Zipcar exiting the lower level of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee before dawn Wednesday was under the influence of marijuana, authorities said.

Jaquan V. Brooks, 24, of Bayonne was charged with DWI (drugs) and possession of a small amount of pot after the 5 a.m. crash on the Fletcher Avenue ramp, the Port Authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

He was brought to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, Pentangelo said.
