LODI, N.J. -- Lodi police charged a driver with dirving under the influence and both him and his passenger with marijuana possession during a holiday DWI enforcement detail.
Frankie Rivera, 27, of Garfield was stopped on Terrace Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. Dec. 12, Lt. Robert Salerno said Monday.
After failing a field sobriety test, Rivera "indicated that he also had marijuana inside the vehicle," Salerno said.
Passenger Johnatah Oliveros also was found carrying pot after officers saw some sticking out of his jacket pocket, the lieutenant said.
Both men received court summonses on drug charges, whild Rivera also was ticketed for DWI and other violations, Salerno said.
