The INS obtained a detainer holding 59-year-old landscaper Margarito Ramirez-Martinez in the Bergen County Jail pending the disposition of the case and a deportation hearing following his arrest Thursday, records show.
Local authorities charged him with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and two counts of child endangerment after being contacted by the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
