Detectives who "observed a hand-to-hand drug transaction" between the driver and passenger of a white Dodge van and an unidentified participant on Main Avenue near Borig Street on Sept. 21, Lt. Robert Salerno said.

They stopped the van and arrested the driver Jurand Iwanicki and passenger Armand Jonusllari, he said.

A Bergen County Sheriff's canine indicated the presence of drugs following a walk-around, Salerno said.

Detectives secured the vehicle, obtained a search warrant and found marijuana and drug paraphernalia, he said.

Iwanicki and Jonusllari were charged with possession of both and released on summonses, the lieutenant said.
