The crew has struck Bottle King stores in Wayne, Glen Rock and Livingston "in a short number of days," Wayne Police Capt. Laurence Martin said.

Crew members "enter the store, load up their shopping carts then wait until the store employees are distracted and flee the busy stores with the carts to waiting cars," Martin said.

In Wayne, they fled in a white, late-model Honda Accord, the captain said.

In Livingston, they fled in a BMW -- possibly a gray X5 or X3, he said.

Matin asked that anyone who knows them, sees them or has information that could help the investigation call Wayne Detective Sgt. Robert Simpson at (973) 633-6528 or (973) 633-3530.
