Bergen County SPCA seeks public’s help in trailer purchase

FUNDRAISER: The Bergen County SPCA is hoping to buy an enclosed trailer for animal events, educational functions and community policing.

It will be marked with BCSPCA decals and contact information and contain all necessary agency equipment.

Bergen’s SPCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer, humane law enforcement agency authorized to investigate and prosecute alleged acts of animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect.

It isn’t funded by state, county or local taxpayers.

The agency “attends many different events throughout the year in an effort to educate the public on proper animal care, recognizing and reporting animal cruelty and neglect.”
