GARFIELD, N.J. -- Stella Yovich, 87, of Garfield, died Sept. 10. She was 87.
She was born in Hackensack and resided in Garfield and Passaic before settling in Sussex 14 years ago.
She worked 25 years in the housekeeping department at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, retiring in 1984.
She was predeceased by her husband, John; son, Ronald, and siblings, Anthony, Joseph and Archie Mancini, Rose Eisner, Marie Colandro, Millie Nicastro and Adeline Michelini.
She is survived by her son, Bruce and wife Virginia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Weil.
Visiting hours will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 188 MacArthur Ave., Garfield. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
