LODI, N.J. – Russell Schiro, of Lodi, died Jan. 17. He was 88.
Schiro served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, going on to work for Uniroyal and Insulfab Plastics after his service.
He was predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Mary and son-in-law Ralph Giacomarro.
He is survived by his wife Emily (nee Adrignola), daughter Patricia Giacomarro, son Russell Jr. and wife Diane, and daughter Diane De Rosa, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Nicholas and wife Rose Marie of Hasbrouck Heights.
Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St., Lodi, with a service set for 9:30 a.m. Thursday. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church.
Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery.
