Born in Dumont, he resided in Erskine Lake, Ringwood finally settling in Lodi. In his early years, he pursued a career as a pharmacist. After graduating from Lodi High School in 1956, he attended Upsala College, graduating in 1962 with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He then worked as a contract auditor with the U.S. Naval Department.
Devoted father of Joanne Starace and husband Michael of Toms River and Frank DiMaria of Franklin Lakes. Loving grandfather of Courtney, Nicolette, Michael, Richard, Michelle and Jillian.
