Olga Victoria Felber, 93, Longtime Garfield Resident

GARFIELD, N.J. -- Longtime Garfield resident Olga Victoria (Komsa) Felber died Monday, Jan. 25. She was 93.

Born and raised in Passaic, Felber was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and Our Lady of Sorrows Church, both in Garfield. An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling, gardening, antique and doll collecting, walking, visits to New York City and time spent with family.

Prior to retiring in 1962, Felber was a sales associate with Roman’s, in Saddle Brook, for 12 years.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Ferraro, Jane Felber and Jeffrey Felber; and grandchildren Justin, Lauren, Jared, Jordan, Jeffrey Jr. and Sarah. She was the dear sister of the late Adeline Jarzemcak, Zigmund Komsa and Kazimiera “Kay” Pepperted.

Felber was predeceased by her husband, Frank Felber.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. There will be a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 184 Ray St., Garfield. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack.
