Mary V. DeSimone, 91, Lodi Resident

LODI, N.J. — Lifelong Lodi resident Mary V. DeSimone (Paci) died Monday, May 9. She was 91. 

DeSimone was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Lodi and a member of the Lodi Senior Citizens Club.

She was the beloved wife of the late James M. DeSimone. 

DeSimone is survived by her sons and their spouses, James M. DeSimone Jr. and his wife Milena, Joseph DeSimone and his wife Denise and Robert DeSimone and his wife Edith; and daughter, Michelle DeSimone.

She also is survived by her sisters Rose DeProposo and Stella DelColle, Constance Jacobs and Adeline Annese; brothers, Salvatore Paci, Mayor Christopher Paci, Joseph Paci, Richard Paci and Ronald Paci; grandchildren, James and his wife Madeline, Gina and her husband Cory, Robin and her husband Michael, John, Wendy and her husband Steve, Joseph and his wife Kerri, Robert and his wife Christina and Milena and her husband Daniel; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

DeSimone was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Vincentia Paci; her husband, James M. DeSimone; sister, Angelina Graziano; and great-great-grandson Maddox. 

Her funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. 

There will be a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Lodi.

Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, in Saddle Brook. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12 from 4-8 p.m.
