LODI, N.J. – Marion R. Van Hook (Grasso), of Lodi and formerly of Garfield, died Saturday, Feb. 27. She was 84.
She was born in Garfield to the late Alfred and Marie Grasso.
She was the wife of the late Elmer Van Hook; mother of Karen Lanzisera and her husband, Joe, of Lodi, and Alfred Van Hook and his wife, Theresa, of Lincoln Park; and grandmother of Christopher and Daniel.
Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. A funeral will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Costa Memorial Home followed by a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, Garfield. Private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
