LODI, N.J. -- Marian A. Wagenti -- a resident of Jupiter, Floria, formerly of Lodi, died on Monday, Jan 23. She was 80.
Born in Lodi, Wagenti was the daughter of the owners of the American Theater in Lodi, the late William and Mary Basil. She was the current president of the Park Plaza Condo Association, in Jupiter.
She is survived by her children, Philip Wagenti and his wife Jenny, and Patricia Tufaro and her husband James; grandchildren Joseph and Christopher Tufaro, and Kristina and Daniella Wagenti; brother James Basil; nephews Michael and Steven Basil; and friends Judy and Fred Whyatt.
Wagenti was predeceased by her brother William Joseph Basil.
Visitation will be from 3:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, at Costa Memorial Home, 170 Central Ave., in Hasbrouck Heights. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, with a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy from St. Joseph's Church, in Lodi. Interment will follow, at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Saddle Brook.
