LODI, N.J. -- Louis Monda, a resident of Lodi, died Tuesday, Feb. 3. He was 91.
Before retiring, Monda was a store manager for ShopRite in Hasbrouck Heights and Rochelle Park. He was a member and former president of the Lodi Senior Citizens Club, a member of the Hasbrouck Heights Elks and a drummer in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was predeceased by his parents Silvester and Angelina; his wife Margaret; and his brother Andrew Monda
He is survived by his daughter Donna and Bob of Little Falls; and son Thomas Monda and wife Maria of Rochelle Park. He also was the grandfather of Thomas, Daniel and Bianca. In addition, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Friday for an 11 a.m. chapel service at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St., Lodi. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
