LODI, N.J. -- Leona Gomes Santos, a resident of Lodi, died Saturday, Feb. 6. She was 91.
She is survived by her children Diana and her husband Michael Byelick of Auburn, Pa. and Joe and wife Nancy of Saddle Brook; daughter-in-law Francine; grandchildren Marlena Schulz of Martinsville and Victoria Santos of Lodi; step-grandmother of Amanda, Matt, Mike, Chris and Alex; great-grandchildren Christian and Olivia; and sisters Celeste Hadley and Hilda Rendeiro.
She was predeceased by siblings Lucinda Lopes and Joseph Gomes.
Funeral from the Alesso Funeral Home, 91 Union St., Lodi at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Funeral liturgy at St. Joseph's RC Church will be at 9:30 a.m. Entombment St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lodi Senior Citizen's Club in her memory would be appreciated.
