GARFIELD, N.J. -- John R. Puzio, of Garfield, died on Wednesday, Oct. 5. He was 77.

Puzio was a fork lift operator for Garden State Paper Mills in Garfield for 20 years. He retired in 1988. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Garfield.

He is survived by his sister, Anna Shawand, and was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anna (Wyka) Puzio, and his brothers, Joseph, Boleslaw "Bill," Frank and Walter Puzio.

Visiting hours will from 8-9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Kamienski Funeral Home, 207 Ray St., in Garfield. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home, and 9 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, in Garfield. Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, in South Hackensack.
