She was born March 5, 1963, in the Bronx. She lived there for seven years moving to Teaneck and Lodi, settling in Garfield 10 years ago.
She was a bus aide for the Garfield Board of Education before retiring, and she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
She is survived by her fiancé, Angelo Piraino; father, Salvatore Arpa; brothers, John (Angelina) Arpa, Thomas (Lisa) Arpa, and Michael Arpa.
She was predeceased by her mother, Inge Arpa; and her brother, James.
Visiting will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. The funeral will be Monday, arriving at the funeral home at 9 am followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 188 MacArthur Ave., Garfield. Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
