GARFIELD, N.J. — James D. Kearney, 53, of Garfield, died Oct. 9.
He was born Aug. 29, 1963.
Kearney was a sheet metal worker for 16 years with the Sheet Metal Workers International Union - Local 28.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (nee Kosco); child, Shannon Kearney; parents, Richard and Lucille Kearney and Virginia Carey; and siblings, John Kearney and Traci Heinz and her husband Ron.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Kearney.
Memorial Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday with a 4:30 p.m. chapel service at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorial gifts.
