GARFIELD, N.J. -- Frances Rufrano, 96, of Garfield, died Oct. 1.
She was born Oct. 18, 1919.
She was a textile inspector for more than 40 years, retiring in 1985 from Baldecci Textiles in Passaic. She was a member of the Textile Worker’s Union, and she was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield.
She is survived by two sisters, Anna and Marjorie Rufrano; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Mary Rufrano; siblings, Joseph, Rocco and Lawrence Rufrano, Angelina Kelly and Virginia Cangelosi.
Visiting will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. The funeral is Wednesday with a Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 188 MacArthur Ave., Garfield. Interment will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
