GARFIELD, N.J. -- Elizabeth Jurczenko, of Garfield, Wallington and Lodi, died on Saturday, Jan. 14. She was 67.
Born in Pianki, Poland, April 1, 1949, she came to the United States in 1974, lived in Wallington and Lodi before moving to Garfield 35 years ago. She was a nurse at the Felician Sisters Infirmary in Lodi for 42 years retiring in December of 2016. Previously she worked at Zespolony County Hospital in Poland. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Jurczenko; children, Christopher Jurczenko and Annetta Falzon, and her husband Mark; siblings, Edmund Chetnik, Cecylia Karpowicz, and her husband Marek, and Krystyna Woroncow, and her husband Gregory.
Visitation will be on Jan. 18, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at Kamienski Funeral Home of Garfield, 207 Ray St., Garfield. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church.
