GARFIELD, N.J. – Concetta Bevilacqua (Ferraro), of Garfield, died Sunday, Feb. 21. She was 90.
Born and raised in Paterson for 20 years, she moved to Garfield 70 years ago.
She was a switchboard operator for 25 years with Bendix Corporation in Teterboro and retired in 1975. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Mount Virgin Church.
She is survived by three children, Louis Jr. and his wife, Diane, Elise Anello and Bruce and his wife, Connie; six grandchildren, Lindsey, Erica, Michael, Nicole, Brian and Krista; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis, in 1998, and her siblings, Salvatore Ferraro, Carmen Aquila, Jennie Fiore, Carmelina Carrubba, Frances O’Neill and Antoinette Maltese.
Visitation will take place Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. The funeral is Thursday, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m., followed by a 10:45 a.m. chapel service. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are requested to a charity of one’s choice.
