Cecelia Peplowski, 84, Of Lodi

LODI, N.J. -- Cecelia Peplowski, 84, of Lodi, died Wednesday, Sept. 14. She was 84. 

She was born in Finderne and graduated from the Muhlenberg College of Nursing. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were older then went back to Jersey City State College for her BA in nursing. She worked many years as a nurse in the Immaculate Conception Infirmary then years later worked private duty. 

She enjoyed pinochle, going out to eat, shopping and Atlantic City. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church in Lodi. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Stevan and Zofia. 

She is survived by her husband, Stephen; four daughters, Anne and late husband Thomas, Irene, Marion and Virginia and husband Edward; grandchildren, Nicole and partner Matt, Marcia and fiancé Aaron, Sandra and husband Jeff, Lauren and husband Jonathan, Christopher, Charley, Rachel and husband Jamie, Stephen, Megan and husband Gordan, Victoria, Veronica and Vincent; eight great-grandchildren, Zeke, Henry, Gavin, Noah, Oliver, Aleksander, Gabriela and Lucas; and her siblings, Andrew, Margie, Theresa, and the late Helen, Connie, Joe and Gracie. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi, then to St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, 125 Union St, Lodi for a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Interment will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
