LODI, N.J. – Alexander Motichka, of Lodi, died Wednesday, March 16. He was 79.
He was the husband of Mary J. Motchka (Megna); father of Alexander of Edison, Melissa and her husband, Mike Leonte, of Pompton Lakes, Maureen Aquino of Rochelle Park, and the late Andrew “ Andy, who predeceased him in 1992; grandfather of Alexa and her husband, Joseph Alvarado, Michael Leonte, Christopher Motichka, Nina Motichka, Angela Leonte and Shana Motichka; and brother of John of Ringwood.
Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Alesso Funeral Home, 91 Union St., Lodi. Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Alesso Funeral Home. Mass will take place at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel in Passaic. Interment will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery.
