A former Beth-El rabbi told jurors how fire consumed his blankets in 2012 when Aakash Dalal of Lodi tossed a firebomb through his bedroom window, during the accused terrorist's trial on Wednesday, NorthJersey.com reports.

Dalal, 24, is facing 20 counts of terrorism, aggravated arson and more, for incidents between December 2011 and January 2012 occurring in Maywood, Hackensack, Paramus and Rutherford, the article says.

Schulman's former home is now occupied by Rabbi Yitzchok Lerman, his wife, Bina, and their three children. They say the house is in dire need of restoration.

Dalal was allegedly the mastermind behind the incidents, employed by his former peer, Anthony Graziano, NorthJersey.com reports.
