PATERSON, N.J. — The administrator of a charter school relinquished her certificates to the state after admitting to stealing more than $75,000 from the school.
At its meeting last month, the New Jersey State Board of Examiners reviewed an affidavit that the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office had forwarded regarding Kathleen E. Patacsil of Lodi.
In May, Patacsil pled guilty to theft by deception and in July, she was sentenced to drug court.
Patacsil currently holds a School Business Administrator Certificate of Eligibility, issued in July 2010. She agreed to relinquish her certificate.
