LODI, N.J. -- Lodi government officials and residents have opposing views when it comes to saving a parking spot on the street following a snow storm, according to NorthJersey.com.
Borough police reminded residents on its Facebook page following winter storm Jonas that placing items in the street to save a parking spot is illegal and subject to a fine. Residents, however, feel that going through the work of digging out a parking spot entitles them to keep it, NorthJersey.com reported.
Borough Manager Bruce Masopust said he understands where residents are coming from, especially when on-street spots are at a premium, NorthJersey.com said.
