Lodi police are asking residents in the area to move cars before 7 a.m. weekdays while the work takes place.
The area will be resurfaced, and curbs and sidwalks will be repaired between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, police said.
No road closures are anticipated, police said, though officers will be helping direct traffic, if needed. Overnight parking restrictions will be suspended during the work, police said.
There also will be emergency "No Parking" signs posted in the area, and any car that hasn't been moved before 7 a.m. may be ticketed and towed, police said.
