Lodi Police Department Issues Roadwork Advisory For Central Avenue

LODI, N.J. -- The Lodi Police Department has issued the following advisory: There will be scheduled roadwork on Central Avenue until 4 p.m. each day this week.

Central Avenue between South Main Street and Grove Street will begin to be resurfaced. Curbs and sidewalks will be repaired from about 7 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. Residents of Central Avenue are asked to have their vehicles moved before 7 a.m. each weekday, through Friday.

Overnight parking regulations have been suspended during this time. There is no anticipation for any road closures or delays; however, in the event this does occur, the Police Department will be on the scene to assist motorists.

Emergency "No Parking" signs have been posted. If vehicles are not moved, they will be subject to a ticket and will be towed, according to Borough Ordinance 84-8.
