GARFIELD, N.J. -- Members of Garfield Prevention Coalition kicked off its Parents Who Host public awareness campaign recently by putting stickers on pizza boxes to remind parents of the dangers of providing alcohol to minors.
The campaign is intended to increase awareness among parents of social hosting laws and underage drinking laws. The stickers say, "Parents Who Host Lose The Most."
Members put stickers on pizza boxes since pizza is a common food to serve at parties. Pizza Mania on Midland Avenue in Garfield provided the pizza.
"We want people to be reminded of the law and know that serving alcohol to teens is illegal," reads the group's statement on Facebook.
