Garfield Continues Series Of Financial Workshops

GARFIELD, N.J. -- The city will continue the financial workshop series it began in January in conjunction with Greater Bergen Community Action.

Garfield will continue its series of financial workshops with sessions Feb. 8 and 22.

Upcoming workshops will be held on Monday, Feb. 8, and Monday, Feb. 22, at the North Hudson Community Action Corporation Health Center, 535 Midland Ave.

Two sessions will be held each day: the first will take place at 9:30 a.m., and the second at 6 p.m.

Topics covered at the events will include banking, checking and savings accounts and credit.

Free individual counseling will also be available.
