Report: 11 Bergen County Municipalities Among Safest In New Jersey

Eleven municipalities in Bergen County and three is Passaic made the list of the 50 safest cities in New Jersey – with Saddle Brook coming in at number two -- according to a report from backroundchecks.org.

The list called “The Safest Cities In New Jersey 2016” was compiled “based on FBI violent crime stats and proprietary BackgroundChecks.org research data,” the site says.

Here are the rankings of the Bergen and Passaic County municipalities that made the list:

#21 Tenafly
#27 River Edge

#33 Wyckoff
