Photos: Goalkeeper Rafael Diaz Visits Lodi Library

LODI, N.J. -- The Friends of Lodi Library sponsored a visit from Red Bulls goalie Rafael Diaz on Wednesday, April 18 -- which brought a packed crowd of fans.

Over 50 kids and their parents attended. Diaz read the book "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" by Dr. Seuss, and then had an extensive Q&A about his career. You can watch a video here.

Friends President Judy Schroeder presented Diaz with an honorary membership to the organization, and Library Director Siobhan Koch presented him with a two-pack gift copy of the book.

Lodi Mayor Emil Carafa also presented Diaz with a medal from the town of Lodi and an honorarium from the town and council.
