Lodi Memorial Day Celebrations Start Early Monday

LODI, N.J. -- Lodi's Memorial Day Celebration will be on Monday, May 30, and have an early start.

Here are the day's ceremonies:

8:45 a.m. -- Ambulance Corps Ceremony, 72 Kimmig Ave.
9:15 a.m. -- Fire Department Ceremony, 99 Kennedy Dr.
10:30 a.m. -- VFW Ceremony, 163 Union St.
11 a.m. -- American Legion Ceremony, 41 Union St.
11:30 a.m. -- Police Department Ceremony, 1 Memorial Dr.

Everyone is welcome to attend any of the ceremonies, not just current and past members and their families.

A Walkway for Peace Ceremony, at 1 Memorial Dr., will immediately follow the Police Department Ceremony. The Walkway for Peace has monuments from past wars. In these ceremonies, veterans from their respective wars present wreaths.
